Pillar Innovations is now accepting applications for a Senior Software Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Developing web and mobile application prototypes and modifying based on business needs
- Mentoring junior developers on code quality, design, and code architectures
- Architecting solutions that are simple to test, well documented and versatile
- Recommending and implementing new technologies and solutions into existing tech stack
- Creating and finalizing designs to meet project requirements
- Interpreting client requirements, identifying and addressing design parameters, and ensuring solutions are implemented accurately and within budget
- Conducting cost and time estimation
- Conducting thorough testing to ensure top performance of new products
- Working to minimize and resolve bugs encountered within solutions
- Maintaining accurate records and files accordingly to ensure quality standards
- Modifying systems upon customer’s request and documenting the amendments accordingly
- Providing high quality pre-sales, design-in and post-sales technical support to customer
- Providing technical support and on-site troubleshooting and repair for customers
- Responding to phone calls and texts after hours and on weekends within a timely manner

Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in software or web/mobile development
- Proficient with MS Office productivity software
- Proficient in MYSQL, MSSQL, Linux, NodeJS, Typescript, JavaScript, Angular 9+, NoSQL Databases, & Git
- Experience with AWS and AWS Amplify a plus
- Able to balance multiple projects and efficiently organize work tasks to meet company goals
- Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and in team environments
- Proactive, resourceful, and highly motivated with good communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism while interacting with customers, with an aptitude to answer technical questions in a simplified manner
- Able to work a flexible schedule and adjust to changing business needs
- Willingness to participate in Pillar Innovation’s Drug and Alcohol policy, which includes pre-employment, random, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing as requested
