Position Description: Server/Bartender

FLSA: Non-exempt full or part time

Compensation Type: $35.00 per hour includes (20%) shared tip, overtime after 40 hours weekly

Working Hours: Flexible, Scheduled by supervisor during club restaurant hours

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Takes orders from club members and guests
• Serve food from kitchen to tables
• Busses, cleans and resets tables
• Performs side work as needed
• Prepares bills and processes payments
• Operates Point-of-Sale system for placing kitchen & bar orders
• Meets and greets members and guests
• Takes reservations as requested
• Answers phone and takes orders or reservations or routes calls
• Assists in bartending activities
• Assists in taking inventory and restocking
• Participates in housekeeping activities, cleaning tables, vacuuming floors, etc
• Drives beverage golf carts as needed
• Assists in the overall member experience for Clubhouse Functions
• Complies with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience as a server
• Basic Computer Skills Preferred
• Point of Sale system experience preferred
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• ServSafe Certification (Can obtain after employment)

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Server and/or bartender
• Banquet service a plus
• Processing credit card payments
• Using a calculator
• Using Point-of-Sale systems
• Operate restaurant equipment – coffee makers, ice machines, etc
• Follows safety precautions and operates safety equipment – fire extinguishers, etc
• Ability to handle multiple tasks

· Adhere to all policies as specified in Key Royale Club Employee Manual.

· Work effectively as a member of a team through cooperation and group participation.

· Willing to share responsibility for the success/failure of the team.

Physical Demands:

• Ordinary restaurant and kitchen capabilities
• Available to work flexible hours including days, evenings, holidays and weekends
