SOCIAL WORKER – BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

OFFERING $15,000 SIGN ON BONUS with a two year commitment for Full Time Positions!

Seeking licensed Social Workers to work on the 12-bed inpatient Geropsychiatric Unit in South Central Kansas Medical Center in Arkansas City, KS.

We have the following positions available:
Full-time Social Worker – 40 hours per week (weekdays)
Part-time Social Worker – 20 hours per week (weekdays and/or weekends)
Part-time Social Worker – 8 hour (weekends)

The Social Worker is responsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment, psychodiagnosis, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment, and discharge planning as well as function as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the unit community relations program.

Job Requirements

• Positions requires Kansas licensed Social Workers (or ability to get a KS license); plus previous psychiatry experience.
• Previous geriatric psychiatry experience is a plus.
