Position available for System Analyst to assist VP/IT with maintenance of Seneca's information system.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and two years’ experience in an IT environment preferred. Experience in network hardware components (such as Windows 2012/2016/2019 Server, Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Remote Desktop Server) required.
Prefer a broad comprehension of telecommunications networking equipment, programming and analytical techniques and experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, IPX) and bandwidth conversation techniques and Microsoft DNS.
Ability to work independently.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle required.
Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Employment Fitness Determination through WVCARES and a drug screen.
PURPOSE
Provide data analysis of consumer outcomes and service delivery. Responsible for tracking and reporting on employee productivity using data from the EHR. Provide training and assistance to users on WAN operations. Monitor security issues and contribute to network policy and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and perform testing activities on various computer equipment, peripherals, and data communication and computer network systems.
2. Assemble, install, configure, and test computer equipment or units of local area networks requiring use of standard interface protocols.
3. Provide telephone, in-person and online support to users relating to both hardware and software problems on their personal computers; provide support to users relating to thin client terminals.
4. Install new computer equipment; assist VP/IT in repairing, installing and testing complex equipment or local area networks.
5. Complete work orders such as installing equipment, connecting and moving devices or creating components of autonomous networks, correcting definitions on data switches, protocol converters.
6. Track and report on employee productivity; analyze and report on agency-level data for performance assessment using data from the EHR, utilizing Crystal reports and KPI.
7. Track and report on consumer service delivery and outcome measures.
8. Develop and maintain software and hardware inventory and tracking systems; develop inventory lists and order, stock, and store electronic components.
9. Diagnose trouble areas and implement solutions.
10. Available for emergency outage resolution.
11. Prepare and submit vendor warranty claims, parts, and documentation associated with warranty repairs.
12. Connect users to networks and provide initial training in applications.
13. Administer e-mail and anti-virus systems.
14. Configure and set up servers to work with various programs; install and maintain software in use by Seneca.
15. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
