Seeking a skilled Veterinary Phlebotomist to help kick off our Charlottesville-Richmond branch at the North American Veterinary Blood Bank!

Looking for a unique position in the veterinary field? NAVBB is seeking an additional member of the collection team to perform blood collections at our canine blood drives.

You must have previous jugular phlebotomy skills. You must love dogs!

About This Role:

You will travel to local off-site donation locations in the Charlottesville and Richmond area.

You will not have to work any weekends, no late nights, get holidays off, no overnight shifts! We respect your work/life balance!

About NAVBB:

NAVBB operates on a community donor model. All donors are owned by their loving family and donate blood a few times per year with us. The collected blood is then processed into various components and distributed to veterinary hospitals in need.

We are not a veterinary hospital. We do not provide wellness appointments or surgeries. Blood is all we do!

We are a small team. We are nimble and willing to fill in where needed. We all have the same goal, to help save as many animals as possible. You must share this same mentality to fit into the company.

Off-site donation locations are not always temperature controlled so you must be willing to work in all temperature conditions.

Job expected to start in late Janaury 2023

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
