Responsibilities:

• Assumes responsibility for the effective hiring, engagement, development and retention of all staff assigned to a 14-bed new ICU
• Conveys a strong sense of advocacy and support on behalf of staff and patients
• Acts as a clinical resource and liaison to the Medical Staff.
• Functions at the leadership level to provide effective leadership, coordinating resources to deliver patient care, treatment and services.
• Management style promotes continuous, consistent, efficient, and accountable patient care
• Provides adequate staffing while maintaining set productivity man hours, collaborating with management on staffing standards, identifying and justifying variances
• Maintains focus on the monitoring and continuous improvement of key performance metrics in the department, including quality metrics and customer service metrics.
• Develops, implements and evaluates nursing policies and procedures; recommending changes where needed

• 
  Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state of Missouri RN licensure or Compact license required.

• Bachelor's degree required.

• 3+ years progressive leadership preferred.
