The ideal candidate is someone who inspires a high-performing accounting team, but can also embrace ambiguity and loves solving problems.

You will play a critical role in ensuring we continue building a world-class accounting function while partnering across the business to ensure our systems and processes are running smoothly. Our goal is to be scalable as we push towards best-in-class operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
• month and end-year process
• accounts payable/receivable, ageing reconciliation
• cash receipts
• general ledger
• payroll and utilities
• treasury, budgeting
• cash forecasting
• revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• capital assets reconciliations
• check runs
• fixed asset activity
• debt activity
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the HR department
• Payroll Functions
• HR Functions
• Benefit Functions
• Purchasing Card reconciliation
• Sales Commission Reports
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Act as a liaison in between the Company and Financial institutes including wholesale and retail financing providers
• Act as a liaison in between the Company and Lawyer
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits with independent Auditor
• Coordinate and complete insurance audits
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

Requirements

• The main office will be in Buckhead, GA, however, the job requires some travel to Rome, GA
• Must be bi-lingual: English and Korean
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
• Strong ERP system experience, preferably in SAP
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, able to communicate complex concepts and risk factors to influence decision making
• Experienced business partner, skilled in building trust and inspiring others while ramping in a new business and role
• Excitement around navigating a hyper-growth, rapidly changing, and sometimes ambiguous environment
• Proven experience building, developing, mentoring, and inspiring a high performing professional accounting team

Compensations

• Competitive wages: in range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
