JOB SUMMARY
H&R Block, the world's leader in tax preparation services, is looking for a Lead Web Product Manager who will lead a team of product managers responsible for a variety of digital web properties. In this exciting role, you will deliver high-quality solutions to solve business needs across the organization, drive web strategies, and partner with a cross-functional team to execute best-in-class web experiences. The position location is flexible, but ideally located at our corporate headquarters, in the premier downtown Power & Light district of Kansas City, where everything is either steps or a streetcar ride away.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-
Leads, develops, recommends, and implements web products and programs designed to meet business goals, including growing revenues, clients, and profitability.

Partners across the organization with Marketing, Content and Design, IT, and more to ensure consistent end-to-end experiences, and delivery of strategic objectives and timelines and incorporate web best practices.

Analyzes key performance metrics and develops product roadmaps and test and learn plans to improve and optimize websites.

Drives prioritization and roadmap decisions, defining assumptions and constraints, and gaining alignment on plans to meet strategic objectives, project timelines, and budgets, or to develop contingencies and risk mitigation plans.

Develops new strategies, initiatives, and tactics based on consumer insights, performance metrics, and UX and industry trends.

Reviews and approves project briefs, technical requirements, design documentation and creative deliverables, in partnership with internal and external partners, to develop landing pages, banners, marquees, sales pages, and web tools on H&R Block web properties.

Owns successful execution of projects from initiation to implementation, communicates effectively, and works with a sense of urgency.
What you'll bring to the team-
Bachelor's Degree in business or marketing or combination of education and work experience.

Minimum of 6 years' relevant product/people management experience, preferably in senior or leadership roles.

Flexible, friendly, can-do attitude and an ability to develop and nurture relationships

Experience analyzing key performance metrics to understand strengths and opportunities
-
A track record of devising winning strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
-
Strong presentation skills necessary to communicate and influence a wide range of audiences, including senior management.

Ability to balance priorities between various product/business customers.

Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment

What you'll bring to the team...
Education:
-
Bachelor's degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
Work Experience:
-
8 years Minimum related work experience
-
Familiarity with compliance (regulatory, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), etc.) and governance issues.

Experience with cost benefit analysis in preparing/reviewing business cases.
-
Ability to work with external vendors.
-
Experience developing and managing product budgets
-
Ability to interact effectively in a matrix environment and with all levels within the company.

Ability to analyze data, plan, and coordinate multiple projects and work initiatives while meeting deadlines.
-
Product management experience to include experience leading large mission critical products that involve significant business and technology change.
