Access Therapy is in need of driven and dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) for home health to provide excellent home care solutions to individuals of adult ages. Our OTs focus on improving our patient’s ability to perform activities of daily living. They develop programs that help patients to restore their mobility and independence. Their expert recommendations help patients function safely in their home.

Responsibilities:

• Assessment and evaluation of patient care needs related to activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, functional status, home assessments and adaptive equipment, and other occupational therapy needs as defined by medical conditions.
• Helps to determine a treatment plan, performs interventions aimed at improving and enhancing the patient's well being, and charts and monitors the patient’s progress
• Provides service within the scope of practice as defined by the state laws governing the practice of Occupational Therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.
• Follows the plan of care by leading the patient in the use of therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve functioning and safety.
• Observes, records, and reports to the supervising nurse and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition.
• Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and participating members of the health care team in the areas of therapy in which they can participate to assist the patient.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited OT program to apply
• Occupational Therapist license required
• Therapist that is willing to work with all ages
• Bilingual is a plus, but not a requirement

Please note, the salary listed is for full-time employees. We do have part-time openings as well, with pay based on an hourly rate.
