Perform daily checks on all buildings

Perform Maintenance and repair on buildings, grounds and equipment

Follow ACA regulatory guidelines

Maintain compliance with MSDS and OSHA standard

Responsible for using power equipment and tools, heavy and light machinery and building electrical related to engineering, construction, carpentry, plumbing, water/sewage treatment.

Other duties as assigned

Support all Takodah YMCA programs, events, and fundraising initiatives

Ability to understand and implement safety regulations and procedures

Ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds

Physical ability to assist guests in emergencies

Ability to work irregular hours, especially during summer camp season

Ability to work in all kinds of weather

Must be able to perform semi -skilled maintenance and repair which could involve

Carpentry and Electrical and Plumbing and Painting and Landscaping and Automotive and Small Engine Repair and HVAC

High school diploma or equivalent, some college or technical training preferred

Three years of experience in buildings/grounds maintenance

Valid and current drivers license with record that meets YMCA standards

Ability to pass criminal background check

Ability to work as a team and relate well to others

Ability to be a self starter

Ability to accept guidance , direction and supervision
