Job Summary

The Quality Technician (2nd Shift), is responsible for completing product quality checks. Conducts routine testing and analysis of production work. Quality checks are typically reviewed for accuracy. Documents quality control issues as needed.

WORK SCHEDULE: 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees a wide variety of skilled preparation and operation of analytical equipment.
• Performs quality control testing on incoming raw materials and final product.
• Performs maintenance of various equipment.
• Corrects routine and non-routine problems.
• Adheres to strict safety regulations of company.
• Collaborates with Research & Development group.
• Operates and trains on operation of test equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining quality within the scope of the job description.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in science-related field preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and test methods desired.
• Experience working with chemicals and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with standard operating procedures and good documentation practices.
• Quality Assurance and/or Manufacturing background is preferred.
