Job Descriptions:

1. Answer phones

2. Schedule appointments

3. Check clients/patients in for appointments/surgeries

4. Check clients/patients out - handle payment/go over medical instructions with owners (medicines, activity recommendations, recheck appointments, etc)

6. Prepare and present price quotes to client

7. Fill prescriptions orders

8. Clean and maintain a spotless work environment

9. Perform basic animal restraint

10. Treat and care for hospitalized patients based on doctor’s instructions -administer both oral and injectable medications

11. Learn, understand, and explain basic medical/surgical procedures

12. Work closely with and assist doctors as needed

13. Kennel duties - Basic husbandry care, let dogs out, provide food/water, clean kennels, clean bowls/dishes and bathe animals Scheduling Expectations:

• Be available to work full days (usually from 8am to 5pm)
• Rotate weekend kennel duties (bi-monthly) and rotate holiday kennel duties
• Be present at the weekly staff meeting every other Tuesday morning at 7am
• Be available to assist with various night & weekend activities such as parades, community education events, and happy hours with vet students!
