Juniper Tree Counseling is looking for therapists serving all age populations, especially child and family therapists! We are hiring multiple licensed therapists or Oregon licensure associates as independent contractors to serve children, adolescents, and families through individual therapy, family therapy at our ROSEBURG site.

**We hold multiple contracts with maternal mental health, early childhood entities, and other community partners. We are also a PCIT site and are especially looking for individuals interested in child and family focused therapy.**

Therapist Job Responsibilities:

• Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients.
• Diagnoses and effectively treats mental health disorders.
• Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.
• Meets with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress.
• Involves and advises family members when appropriate.
• Refers patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
• Maintains thorough records of patient meetings and progress.
• Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality.
• Contributes to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Provide crisis services such as a risk assessment, suicide assessment and safety plans.
• Independent contractors would be responsible to complete necessary paperwork to comply with state OARS, OHA as well as adhere to HIPAA.

Therapist Qualifications/Skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to build rapport quickly
• Detail oriented
• Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy
• Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field and/or
• Current with all state licensing requirements, including LPC, LCSW and LMFT
• Newer graduates welcome- in- house supervision available for all license categories

Pay

This is a unique opportunity that allows you to make your own schedule, earn a substantial income and not worry about marketing/billing/overhead costs. We are a fun and supportive group practice of clinicians who love what we do and have all left the "churn and burn" work style of larger organizations so that we can support clients and be our best version of ourselves.

Pay range varies based on licensure and experience between $50.00 to $100.00 per client service session.
